Bikram Yoga
Bikram Yoga works for beginners and advanced students alike. It is an excellent way to achieve and maintain health in your body, mind, and spirit. The 90-minute class consists of two breathing exercises (pranaymas) and 26 postures (asanas), repeated twice. The series, which is practiced in a heated room, is scientifically designed to work the entire body from the inside out, bones to skin.
Working every system in the body through contraction and extension, Bikram Yoga stimulates the organs, glands and nerves, moving fresh oxygenated blood through the entire body. The series strengthens and stretches every muscle, ligament, tendon, and joint. Each posture in the Bikram sequence is designed to warm up the muscles and joints in preparation for the next posture. The poses build energy, stamina and flexibility, working synergistically and cumulatively to return the body to a balanced state. Bikram Yoga has proven itself effective for more than thirty years. With hard work, dedication, and persistence, you will obtain positive, long lasting results. Your focus and dedication determines your reality. Hear our customer's Bikram Yoga testimonials by clicking the .pdf link.

Yin/Yang Yoga
It is believed that Yin/Yang are complementary opposites within a greater whole. In yoga, Yin is often associated with rest and stretching and Yang is associated with movement and strengthening. In combining the two into one practice, we are bringing you a dynamic and natural form of flowing energetic yoga. As we focus on the Yin portion of this yoga, we bring our awareness to our connective tissue, deepening the flexibility in our joints and giving ourselves a healthier spine and better alignment. Yang focuses us on building muscle strength through rhythmic movement. In bringing Yin/Yang Yoga to the CRC, we are bringing balance to your body. In Bikram Yoga, our regular practice focuses mostly on the muscular, which is only one side of the scale. For balance, we need to incorporate practice time that also focuses on our joints, and our connective tissue. A Yin/Yang practice will cultivate more flexible, hydrated joints and connective tissue which will lead to stronger and more efficient movement in your next Bikram Yoga class. Challenge yourself with a new style of yoga that will bring your favorite physical activities to a whole new level. All classes are 90 minutes.
Together, along with breath and meditation, Yin/Yang Yoga will help us to find the right balance of harmony and vigor and will provide us with a foundation and space in our bodies upon which to build our practices. Click this .pdf link for the Cell Rejuvenation Center's philosophy about Yin Yoga.

Yoga is a Journey
The following is some guidance to ensure you get the most out of your yoga practice:
- Everyone's body shape and size is uniquely different and should never be compared.
- The most important factor in your yoga practice is not your physical alignment, but your mental alignment and your attitude. A good attitude requires acceptance and humility. The key is to be non-judgmental about yourself and others.
- Pay attention to the teacher's instructions and to what happens when you follow them.
- Work on postures slowly, gradually, and patiently. Your body might have a different level of endurance each day. Regular practice helps to develop awareness of the edge between challenge and unhealthy struggle. Start slowly and listen to your body. Always try to be mindful and focused as you move in and out of postures.
- Do not hold your breath during postures as this causes tensions and strain.
The effects of Yoga are cumulative. Being consistent over time and maintaining a beginner's mind will have a profound and lasting effect. When you practice yoga regularly and with commitment, the rewards will carry over into your daily life. Be patient and soon you will be enjoying the benefits of a true union between body, mind, and spirit.
New Students
Welcome! We are glad you have decided to join us. Arrive at least 15 minutes early to complete paperwork, check-in and get situated. Also, please follow these important guidelines:
- Wear light exercise clothing and be prepared to work in bare feet. You may want to consider wearing layers for Yin Yoga, as your body temperature may change throughout the class.
- Bring a water bottle, a large towel, and a mat. (Mat and towel rental is included during the Introductory Package.) You may purchase yoga mats, juices, and bottled water at our studio.
- Do not eat heavily before class. Wait at least two hours after a meal before practicing yoga.
- Before and after class drink plenty of water and stay hydrated. Drink sparingly during class.
- Let the teacher know if you are pregnant, have high blood pressure, heavy menstruation or have any injuries or problems that might affect your yoga practice.
- During Bikram classes, the room is heated to 100 degrees. The heat is very beneficial, though it takes some getting used to. Take time to enjoy it and start to feel your body loosen.
- Please do not wear perfume, cologne or other strong scents to class. If necessary, please shower before class.
